N-Back Terms of Service

1. Scope and these terms

These terms govern your use of the N-Back app (the "app") provided by kwlabs (the "operator"). Any rights that cannot be waived under applicable law remain unaffected.

2. The app and its purpose

The current version does not require an account. Training records and settings are stored on your device or browser; the operator does not provide server-based sync or recovery. Operating-system backups may retain or restore app data, depending on your backup settings.

The app is a tool for working-memory training, education, and entertainment. It does not provide medical care, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not guarantee any particular cognitive improvement or training result.

3. License and intellectual property

The operator grants you a limited, non-transferable right to install and use the app in accordance with the applicable distribution-platform terms and law. This right does not transfer ownership or copyright to you.

You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without authorization, or interfere with its security or proper operation, except where applicable law permits. Components distributed under open-source licenses remain subject to their respective license terms.

4. Changes and discontinuation

The operator may improve the app or change or discontinue features for legal, security, or technical reasons. Where reasonably practicable, we will announce material changes or discontinuation on this page or through the app store. Any future online features will be described, including their applicable terms and data handling, before they are offered.

5. Warranties and liability

The operator makes reasonable efforts to provide a reliable app but does not guarantee that it will be error-free or continuously available. Any limitation of liability applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not limit liability or user rights that cannot legally be limited.

6. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will post the revised text and effective date on this page. We will provide additional notice of material changes by available means. Changes that adversely affect users will follow the procedures and effective dates required by applicable law. You may stop using the app if you do not agree to the revised terms.

7. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Mandatory consumer protection laws in your place of residence, where applicable, are not affected.
